Emerging from the vibrant São Paulo underground scene in the late 1980s, 3 Hombres carved a unique niche in Brazilian rock. Initially formed in 1987, the band gained cult status despite a limited official discography. Their sound, characterized by a blend of simple rock with bluesy undertones, was elevated by Daniel Benevides' distinctive vocals, creating a compelling auditory experience.

Despite recording material that was considered "lost" for decades, 3 Hombres managed to release one official album, "De Volta Ao Oeste," in 1993, through the independent label Baratos Afins.
