Biography

3 na Massa is a Brazilian musical project formed in São Paulo by Rica Amabis, Pupillo, and Sucinto Silva (Dengue). The trio stands out for their fusion of genres and thematic approach focused on the feminine universe, with lyrics written by men and performed by various female voices, including singers and actresses. The inspiration for the project comes from sources such as Milo Manara's erotic illustrations, the work of Serge Gainsbourg, and the feminine persona in Chico Buarque's compositions.

The debut album, "Na Confraria das Sedutoras" (2008), was conceived from musical tracks created by the trio, who invited over 30 artists to participate. Among the collaborators are names like Céu, Thalma de Freitas, Nina Becker, Pitty, Alice Braga, Karine Carvalho, and Leandra Leal. The album's sound traverses influences of bossa nova, trip-hop, dub, samba, and 60s/70s French music, creating a sensual and cinematic atmosphere.

The 3 na Massa project is recognized for its originality and the quality of its musical production, combining Rica Amabis's experience as a producer for Instituto with the background of Pupillo and Dengue in the band Nação Zumbi. The proposal to explore female romantic experiences through a male perspective yielded a conceptual and provocative work, which seeks to translate the sensuality and emotions of the feminine universe.
