A286 is a Brazilian rap group formed in 1997 in the Jardim Noronha neighborhood of Grajaú, located in São Paulo. The group's original lineup featured Moyses, Ivan, Isaack, André, and DJ Carlos, with musicians Reinaldo and Paulo later joining alongside former Facção Central DJ Erick 12. Their style is deeply rooted in the realities of urban peripheries, addressing social issues such as crime, drugs, and police violence through their hard-hitting lyrics. They developed strong ties with other prominent hip-hop acts like Facção Central, collaborating closely on tracks like "A um Passo" and "Prepara as Algemas".

In 2007, the group released their debut studio album, Além do Crime e da Razão, produced by Erick 12, which featured standout tracks such as "Preparem as Algemas" and "Enquanto Houver Motivo". This was followed by their second album in 2010, Exército dos Excluídos, which continued to chronicle the struggles and injustices faced by marginalized communities in Brazil. Throughout their career, the ensemble expanded their videography and released notable projects, including the 2011 DVD Resistindo a Ação do Tempo and subsequent albums like Prefira a Justiça antes do Perdão in 2015.

Over the years, the group experienced various lineup shifts, including founding member Moysés temporarily leaving to join Facção Central in 2013 following a severe car accident in 2007 that occurred after attending the Prêmio Hutúz. Despite these challenges, A286 remained a persistent voice in the national rap scene, releasing music videos such as "Insônia" and "Seja como for" in the following decade. Their enduring presence highlights the gritty and uncompromising tradition of São Paulo underground hip-hop, keeping them closely aligned with the movement spearheaded by artists like Facção Central.
