Biography

Acabou La Tequila was a Brazilian alternative rock band formed in Rio de Janeiro in the 1990s. Despite its short run, the band left an important legacy for national music, with two albums that explored the fusion of various rhythms and sound experimentations. The band is remembered for its unique identity and contribution to the musical scene of the time, being considered a reference for later artists.

The members of Acabou La Tequila were known for their varied musical influences, which was reflected in their compositions. The band mixed elements of ska, hardcore, funk, reggae, and Latin rhythms, creating an innovative sound that was hard to categorize. This creative freedom was a trademark of the group, which sought not to have a fixed identity, but rather to explore musical diversity.
