Adeilton Alves is a Brazilian singer and songwriter, the son of the renowned samba composer Ataulfo Alves and brother of musician Ataulfo Alves Jr. His musical career began in 1969 with participation in recordings and the release of singles (compactos). Throughout his career, Adeilton Alves has released several singles and albums, solidifying his presence in Brazilian popular music, especially in the samba genre.

Among his best-known works are the songs "Madalena" (1973) and "Esperanças Perdidas" (1972), which demonstrate his skill as an interpreter and songwriter. His work also includes collaborations with other artists, such as Délcio Carvalho, with whom he co-wrote the song "É Preciso Cantar" in 1989. The influence of his father, Ataulfo Alves, is prominent in his work, keeping the tradition of samba alive.
