Biography

Adriana Deffenti is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist born in Porto Alegre. With a classical background that began with the transverse flute at age nine, she developed a diverse artistic foundation that spans music, dance, and theater. Her vocal artistry bridges multiple genres, combining elements of pop, rock, blues, MPB, jazz, samba-choro, flamenco, and Argentine folklore.

Throughout her career, Deffenti has released several acclaimed albums, including her self-titled debut, "Peças de Pessoas", and the 2019 release "Controversial", which also saw distribution in Argentina. Her technical precision and expressive vocal delivery have earned her significant recognition, including multiple wins at the Açorianos Music Awards for Best MPB Performer, as well as honors at festivals like the Moenda da Canção.

In addition to her performance and songwriting work, she has dedicated herself to musical education since 2002, teaching vocal technique and popular singing.
