Aldacir Louro was a Brazilian composer, singer, and instrumentalist who left his mark on popular music. Born in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro, he spent his formative years immersed in the vibrant samba culture of the city's suburbs. He actively participated in samba schools such as Depois te Explico, Braço a Braço, and Unidos da Tijuca, where he honed his skills as a tamborim player.

Louro began his career in music as a song demonstrator, hired by composers to present their works to established artists of the era. However, seeking greater financial reward and artistic expression, he transitioned to becoming a professional singer and songwriter, leveraging his talent as an interpreter of samba. His contributions as a composer are evident in various songs, some co-written with notable figures in Brazilian music.

Throughout the early 1960s, Aldacir Louro made appearances on television programs, including "Bibi ao vivo" and "Programa Flávio Cavalcanti" on TV Tupi Rio de Janeiro. His work as a composer continued to be recognized, with his song "Recordar" being recorded by Agepê in 1988 on the album "Canto pra gente cantar."
