Biography
Aline Anandi Mendes de Moura, known artistically as Aline Anandi, was born in Rio de Janeiro on June 16, 1962. A cousin of musician and arranger Dalton Vogeler, she decided to pursue a musical career at the age of nine, inspired by a show by Elis Regina and Miéle. She began her musical studies with acoustic guitar and piano, later refining her skills in classical guitar, music theory, and singing.
During her adolescence, she formed a vocal group with which she performed at student festivals and in Rio de Janeiro clubs. In 1981, she participated in a charity concert. Although she began studying journalism at Faculdade Hélio Alonso, she dropped out to dedicate herself fully to music. Her musical career led her to participate in recordings and shows with other Brazilian artists, such as Clarisse Grova and Kika Tristão, as part of the album "Estão Voltando as Flores".
Aline Anandi also stood out for her work in projects celebrating Brazilian music. In 1997, she participated in the album "Estão Voltando as Flores", performing the song "Linda Flor (Ai, Yoyo)". Her career demonstrates a dedication to the musical art, exploring different facets of interpretation and collaboration with other talents from the Brazilian scene.
