Biography

Almah was a Brazilian heavy metal band formed in 2006 in the city of São Paulo, led by renowned vocalist Edu Falaschi, known for his time in the band Angra.

Initially conceived as a solo project by Falaschi, Almah quickly evolved into a band with regular activities and its own identity. Throughout its trajectory, it released five studio albums: "Almah" (2006), "Fragile Equality" (2008), "Motion" (2011), "Unfold" (2013), and "E.V.O" (2016). The band stood out for exploring various strands of metal, incorporating elements of power metal, progressive metal, and thrash metal, with lyrics that address existential themes and human feelings.

Almah performed at major national and international festivals, such as Rock in Rio and ProgPower USA, and toured several countries in Europe, Japan, and the United States. In 2017, the band went on hiatus due to Edu Falaschi's return to his solo career, ending its activities in 2019. Despite its end, Almah's legacy remains an important milestone in the Brazilian metal scene, demonstrating the versatility and talent of its members.
