Biography
Alô Som is a pagode group formed in the 1990s in Rio de Janeiro. The group consists of Bigode (surdo), Fernando (cavaquinho), Leandro (tantã), Karburynha (pandeiro), and Henrique (vocals and acoustic guitar).
In 1998, Alô Som released their debut CD through the Abril Music label, produced by Bira Hawai. The album achieved good sales and propelled the group to perform alongside names such as Molejo, Karametade, and É o Tchan. In July 2000, the group suffered a major loss with the passing of vocalist and songwriter Riquinho in a traffic accident. In his honor, in September of the same year, their second CD, "Supera!", was released, featuring the title track composed by Riquinho.
Throughout their trajectory, Alô Som has consolidated their presence in the Brazilian pagode scene, with hits like "Que Situação", "Supera", and "Faz Isso Não". The group remains active, celebrating 30 years of career and maintaining the essence of pagode with performances and releases, such as the EP "Alô Som na Simplicidade".
