Biography

Alt Niss, artistic name of Eunice Santiago Albertini, is a Brazilian singer and songwriter born and raised in the south zone of São Paulo. Her musical career began to take shape from the influences of the black dances frequented by her family and R&B, a genre that captivated her during her adolescence, with artists like Aaliyah, TLC, and Brandy. Despite coming from a family with a tradition in samba, it was in R&B that Alt Niss found her sonic identity. She studied vocal technique and, at age 17, began her professional journey as a backing vocal on stages and in studios.

The artist became involved with the national rap scene, collaborating with names like Slim Rimografia, Amiri, and Drik Barbosa. In 2015, she participated in the opening act of the Racionais MC's show, which caught the attention of Mano Brown. Shortly after, she was invited to join the Boogie Naipe label, becoming the first and only woman to be part of the imprint. Her music, which blends R&B with elements of hip hop and electronic music, is marked by authentic lyrics that address themes such as relationships, self-knowledge, and urban experiences.

Alt Niss is recognized for her smooth and engaging voice, building a unique sonic identity with modern productions and a strong artistic presence. She released her first EP, "A Linha Tênue", in 2019, and has explored different sonorities, including trap soul and afrobeats in her more recent works, such as the project "Al-Kimiya, Ato I". The artist is considered one of the most promising voices of the new generation of contemporary Brazilian music, winning over audiences and critics with her versatility and refined musical aesthetics.
