Biography

Alvos Móveis is an instrumental musical project formed in 1986 by Miguel Barella and Giuseppe Lenti. The duo already had a previous musical partnership, being responsible for the innovative guitars of the Brazilian post-punk band Voluntários da Pátria. After the end of this group, Barella and Lenti decided to continue their collaboration under the name Alvos Móveis.

The project stands out for its exploration of instrumental soundscapes, with an emphasis on guitars and synthesizers. The self-titled debut album, "Alvos Móveis", was recorded between 1988 and 1990, but released only in 1996. In this work, the duo explored both traditional tuning and Guitar Craft tuning, demonstrating an experimental approach in their compositions.

Throughout their trajectory, Alvos Móveis has consolidated itself as an exponent of Brazilian instrumental music, with influences that can be perceived in other artists who traverse more experimental and atmospheric sounds. The partnership of Miguel Barella and Giuseppe Lenti, which began in Voluntários da Pátria, proved to be enduring and fruitful in the musical scene.
