Biography

Amanda Brecker is a singer-songwriter born in New York, USA, in 1984. Her passion for music is a defining characteristic of her life, inherited from a rich musical lineage. She is the daughter of the renowned Brazilian pianist and singer Eliane Elias and trumpeter Randy Brecker, as well as the niece of legendary saxophonist Michael Brecker. This musical heritage profoundly influenced her artistic trajectory.

Her musical career gained prominence with the release of four albums aimed at the Japanese market, starting with "Here I Am" in 2008, which reached the top of the vocal jazz charts in Japan. Other albums such as "Brazilian Passion" (2009), "Blossom" (2011), and "Way To Be" (2018) solidified her international presence. "Blossom", in particular, is a tribute to James Taylor and Carole King, featuring guest appearances by musicians who worked with the honorees themselves.

In 2023, Amanda released the album "Dreams", her first with distribution outside of Japan, which includes original songs like "Man Of My Dreams" and "Wrong Again".
