Biography
Ana Carolina Vilela da Costa was born in Londrina, in the state of Paraná, and had contact with music from the age of twelve, when she learned to play the acoustic guitar and sing. Before achieving national fame, she also worked as a percussion teacher for children in a social project in her hometown and even took the college entrance exam for literature.
Her path changed drastically starting in October 2016, when she released her original song "Trem Bala" on her YouTube channel. The hit quickly went viral on the internet the following month and propelled the singer to stardom after a performance on national television on the show Caldeirão do Huck, where she partnered with singer Luan Santana.
The phenomenon of the song generated enormous repercussions, including covers by personalities such as Father Fábio de Melo, in addition to signing a contract with the SLAP label, from Som Livre, and the release of the EP Está Escrito in 2017. Despite the great commercial success, the artist faced significant challenges with harassment and online attacks, even considering quitting her career before being encouraged by her team to continue.
