Biography

Anderson de Almeida Alves, artistically known as Anderson Noise, is a Brazilian DJ and music producer born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, on July 21, 1969. His passion for electronic music began in childhood, and he started his career spinning records at parties and events in the Minas Gerais capital in 1988, during the explosion of Acid House. Noise is considered a pioneer of electronic music in Brazil, having played a fundamental role in consolidating the genre in the country and helping put Brazil on the global Techno map. His career is marked by performances in over 33 countries, numerous awards, and collaborations with renowned artists.

Throughout his career, Anderson Noise stood out not only as a DJ, but also as a producer and entrepreneur. In 1992, he began organizing his own events, such as "Dancing Noise" and "Rave Noise", often in unusual locations like slaughterhouses and psychiatric hospitals. In 1999, he founded the Noise Music label, Brazil's first Techno label, which became an important platform for national and international artists. Noise was also a pioneer in creating Rádio Noise, Brazil's first online electronic music radio station, and TV Noise, a weekly electronic music channel. His influence extends across generations of DJs, and he is frequently cited as one of those responsible for shaping the Brazilian electronic scene.

Anderson Noise is known for his refined technique and sensitivity in building sets, which led him to feature on prestigious lists like the DJ Mag Top 100 UK. His versatility is evidenced by collaborations with artists from various genres, including Milton Nascimento, João Carlos Martins, Daniela Mercury, and Lulu Santos. In addition to his solo career, Noise maintains parallel projects such as the trio Nie Myer, which blends jazz, bossa nova, and electronic music with musicians from Skank, and the duo 37 37 with DJ Mau Mau. In 2020, his biography "O Barulho da Lua", written by Claudia Assef, was released, chronicling his journey and contribution to electronic music.
