Andrea Fontes is a prominent Brazilian contemporary Christian music singer and songwriter, born in Nova Iguaçu on July 18, 1971. She began her musical journey at a very young age, releasing her debut work in 1980 at just nine years old. Over a career spanning more than four decades, she became a defining voice in the Brazilian gospel scene, particularly within the Pentecostal subgenre. Her breakthrough came in the early 1990s with hits like "João Viu" and later signature anthems such as "Batismo no Ônibus" and "Permissão de Deus."

Throughout her extensive career, Fontes has released numerous successful albums, earning multiple gold and platinum certifications from ABPD.
