Antônio Pedro Fortuna is a renowned Brazilian bassist and composer, with a prominent career in national rock and MPB. His musical journey began around the age of 15, playing in garage bands and participating in famous Sunday afternoon dances at clubs. Influenced by international rock bands such as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, Fortuna soon chose the bass guitar, the instrument that would bring him acclaim.

His career gained prominence with stints in important bands like Veludo Elétrico, where he met musicians who would later be part of Os Mutantes. With Os Mutantes, he recorded the album "Tudo Foi Feito Pelo Sol", a milestone in the group's progressive phase. In addition, Fortuna collaborated with major artists such as Raul Seixas, Lulu Santos, and Lobão, and was part of the classic lineup of the band Blitz, contributing to the success of hits like "Você Não Soube Me Amar".
