Ariel Uliana is a seminal figure in Brazilian punk rock, often referred to as one of the genre's pioneers. With a career spanning over 45 years, he has been a driving force behind several influential bands, leaving an indelible mark on the São Paulo music scene. His journey began in the late 1970s with the band Restos de Nada, which, despite its short lifespan, is considered a foundational act in Brazilian punk. Uliana later became the frontman for Inocentes, participating in the recording of the seminal EP "Miséria e Fome" in the early 1980s. His most enduring project is Invasores de Cérebros, which he has led since 1988, continuing to release music and perform.

Beyond his work with these iconic bands, Uliana also formed Os Insociáveis in 2019, further demonstrating his continued passion and creativity within the punk genre. His influence extends beyond his musical output; he is recognized for fostering a sense of community and family within the punk scene, often referring to it as a "family."
