Arnaldo Black is a prominent Brazilian composer known for his significant contributions to the national music scene. Throughout his career, he has engaged in notable artistic collaborations, most famously with lyricist Carlos Rennó and his wife, the celebrated singer Tetê Espíndola. Together with Tetê, he has built a lifelong partnership both personally and professionally, cultivating an environment deeply rooted in musical creation.

One of his greatest career achievements came as the co-writer of the hit song "Escrito nas Estrelas," alongside Carlos Rennó. The track was brilliantly interpreted by Tetê Espíndola, leading her to victory at Rede Globo's prestigious Festival dos Festivais in 1985. This landmark success cemented his reputation as a visionary composer capable of capturing profound romantic themes through innovative melodic structures.

As the patriarch of a musical family, he also shares his creative lineage with his son, the singer Dani Black. Arnaldo's enduring artistic journey is marked by experimentation, such as his collaborative albums exploring avant-garde soundscapes, including working with natural elements like the songs of Brazilian birds from the Pantanal and the Amazon alongside Tetê Espíndola.
