Biography

Arthur Joly is a renowned Brazilian music producer, composer, and sound engineer, known for his deep passion and expertise in analog synthesizers. Born in São Paulo, Joly dedicates his career to sonic exploration, creating his own modular instruments, named "Jolymod," and founding the Reco-Synth brand, which has gained recognition both in Brazil and internationally. His journey in music began in childhood, driven by curiosity to unravel the sounds of records like "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" by Rick Wakeman, and it solidified over more than two decades of work.

Throughout his career, Arthur Joly has worked across various fronts, including original music production, creating soundtracks for TV and film, and working as a mastering engineer with a specialization in vinyl cutting. He is also the founder of the Reco-Head Records label and the Reco-Master studio. His skill in building synthesizers has made him a prominent figure in the music scene, attracting the attention of renowned artists like Hans Zimmer and Tó Brandileone, who use his creations.

Joly released his first solo album, "Jam Jolie Orquestra," in 2007, and since then he has expanded his discography with albums such as "Arthur Joly e Convidados" (2020) and "Hibernation" (2024), in addition to various singles and EPs. His work is marked by experimentation with electronic sounds and innovation in instrument building, consolidating him as a "synth wizard" and an influential figure in contemporary Brazilian music.
