Biography
Àttooxxá is a Brazilian band formed in 2015 in Bahia, conceived by music producer RDD as a project focused on researching Bahian percussive rhythms combined with bass culture and electronic music. The group seeks to transform pagodão and Bahian popular music into a global pop-reaching genre, mixing national and international peripheral references. The lineup features RDD, Oz Bvng, Raoni Knalha, and Chibatinha.
Throughout its trajectory, the group has released notable works such as the albums É Foda Porra, Blvckbvng, and Luvbox, in addition to achieving widespread acclaim with hits like "Elas Gostam", voted Song of the Salvador Carnival in 2018. The band has also collaborated with several major names in the music scene and participated in festivals of national and international relevance, alongside partnerships with artists such as Pabllo Vittar, Alice Caymmi, and Anitta.
The recognition of Àttooxxá's sound proposal has earned them projection in major specialized media outlets and inclusion on major stages and carnival blocks, where they have shared space with projects like Major Lazer and Tropkillaz. The band has consolidated its artistic identity by reviving romantic elements in Bahian music and by exporting the aesthetic of pagodão to internationally reaching productions.
