Bad Religion is an American punk rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1980. The band is known for their provocative and intelligent lyrics addressing themes such as religion, politics, society, science, and media, combined with a melodic sound and striking vocal harmonies. Throughout their extensive career, Bad Religion has become one of the most influential and respected bands in the punk rock scene, being credited with leading the genre's revival in the 80s and 90s and inspiring countless other musicians.

Since their formation, the band has undergone several lineup changes, but vocalist Greg Graffin is the only constant member. Currently, the band features Graffin, guitarist and co-founder Brett Gurewitz, bassist Jay Bentley, guitarist Brian Baker, guitarist Mike Dimkich, and drummer Jamie Miller.
