Formed in 2007 in São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo, Banda DOPA is a prominent Brazilian gospel axé music group. The band's unique sound blends the infectious rhythms of Bahian music with elements of rock, funk, pop, and reggae, creating an energetic and uplifting musical experience. Their mission is to spread joy and the message of faith through their music, aiming to "win Brazil for Jesus."

Banda DOPA released their debut album, "Junto Com Você," in 2010, which independently sold over 50,000 copies. This success was followed by their live album, "Banda DOPA – Ao Vivo," in 2013, solidifying their position as a significant force in Brazilian gospel music. The band has also collaborated with notable artists, including special participations in projects by Renascer Praise and Rodriguinho.

Over their career, Banda DOPA has released several singles and albums, including "Corinhos (Medley)," a reinterpretation of Pentecostal classics, and "Pra Trás de Mim," featuring MC Juniinho.
