Biography

Baster Barros is a Brazilian drummer known for his work in the rock and pop scenes.

He gained prominence as the drummer for the band Lobão e Os Ronaldos, participating in their only album, "Ronaldo Foi Pra Guerra," released in 1984. This album featured the hit song "Me Chama," which became one of Brazil's most famous tracks and was later covered by various artists. Another notable song from the album is "Corações Psicodélicos." The band, which also included Guto Barros on guitar, Odeid Pomeranblum on bass, and Alice Pink Pank on vocals and keyboards, was active for a short period, disbanding in 1985.

Barros has also contributed to other musical projects, including a collaboration on Dulce Quental's album "Délcia" in 1986, where he performed on the song "Tudo É Mais." His discography also includes a participation in Milton Nascimento's album "Pau de Índio" in 1997, on the track "Os Tambores De Minas."
