Bárbara Bivolt, known professionally as Bivolt, is a prominent Brazilian singer, songwriter, and model who has made a significant impact on the urban music scene. Born in São Paulo, she first engaged with hip-hop culture at the age of fifteen by participating in local rap battles. Over a career spanning more than a decade, she broke barriers by becoming the first female rapper to perform at the Rock in Rio festival in 2017. Her artistic identity combines intense street rhymes with catchy R&B melodies, drawing heavily on her personal life experiences and socio-political reflections.

In 2019, Bivolt signed with Som Livre and released her single "Vista Loka," followed by her critically acclaimed self-titled debut album in 2020, produced with musical direction by Nave. The record featured notable collaborations with artists such as Xenia França, Tasha & Tracie, and Jé Santiago, earning her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Short Form Music Video for the track "Cubana."
