Biography

Br'oz is a Brazilian boy band formed in 2003 through the second season of the reality show "Popstars", aired by SBT. The group, which initially featured André Marinho, Filipe Duarte, Jhean Marcell, Matheus Rocha, and Oscar Tintel, quickly won over young audiences with their pop style and striking choreography.

The initial success was massive, with their debut album "Br'oz" (2003) selling over 350,000 copies and charting hits like "Prometida" and "Vem Pra Minha Vida". The band also recorded the song "Esmeralda", the theme of the soap opera of the same name, consolidating their media presence. In 2004, they released their second album, "Segundo Ato", but the group broke up in 2005.

After an 11-year hiatus, Br'oz announced their return in 2016 with the original lineup, releasing the single "Foi Melhor Assim" and embarking on a nationwide tour. In 2018, Filipe Duarte left the group, and in 2023, the four remaining members celebrated their 20-year career with a special show in São Paulo, demonstrating the band's longevity and the public's affection for them.
