Biography

Brenno & Matheus is a Brazilian sertanejo duo formed in 2014 by Vitor Yago Gonçalves (Brenno) and Felippe Augusto Beienke (Matheus). Originally from Astorga, Paraná, they are now based in Maringá.

Their breakthrough came in late 2024 with the hit "Descer pra BC," a collaboration with DJ Ari SL. This song, a blend of brega funk and sertanejo, quickly climbed the charts, reaching number 1 in Brazil and gaining international recognition. The track's success significantly boosted their popularity across the country and beyond.

Prior to "Descer pra BC," the duo had already achieved some success in their home state of Paraná, with their first hit being "Endereço da Zona" in 2018. Other notable songs in their discography include "Ai Cowboy," "Cabaré Love," and "Xona no Peão." Brenno & Matheus are known for incorporating traditional Brazilian instruments like the viola, accordion, and guitar into their music, blending classic sertanejo elements with contemporary sounds.
