Biography

Bruna Caram is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and actress born in Avaré, in the interior of São Paulo. Born into a family with a strong musical tradition — her maternal grandmother was a radio singer in the 1950s and her paternal grandfather was a choro acoustic guitarist — she began her musical studies on the piano at seven years of age. In her childhood and adolescence, she joined the groups Trovadores Mirins and Trovadores Urbanos, consolidating her artistic background before graduating in Music from Unesp in 2010.

Throughout her recording career, Bruna has released albums such as Essa Menina (2006), blending ballads, blues, pop, and bossa nova, and Feriado Pessoal (2009), which featured a repertoire interpreting renowned names of Brazilian popular music such as Lô Borges, Guilherme Arantes, and Caetano Veloso. In 2012, she released her third album, titled Será Bem-Vindo Qualquer Sorriso.

In addition to her career in music, where she works as an instrumentalist playing piano, acoustic guitar, cavaquinho, and accordion, Bruna has expanded her artistic work into television. In 2017, she debuted as an actress in the miniseries Dois Irmãos, playing the character Rânia.
