Biography

Bruninho e Davi is a Brazilian contemporary sertanejo duo formed by Bruno Alessandro da Silva Cerri, known as Bruninho, and Davi Garcia de Ávila Filho, known as Davi, both originally from Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul. Childhood friends, they started singing in church and, in their teens, joined a rock band called Vega, where Davi played guitar and Bruninho played keyboards. The country duo was officially formed in 2009, during a birthday party, when they decided to release their first promotional single, titled "Zona Sul".

National recognition began to take shape in 2010 with the release of the music video for "Vamo Mexê", which featured Michel Teló and opened doors for the duo to participate in the "Garagem do Faustão" segment on the Domingão do Faustão show. Ultimate acclaim came in 2012 with the hit "Se Namorar Fosse Bom", which reached millions of views on the internet. Throughout their career, the duo has released several standout works, including live albums and DVDs, such as the project Ao Vivo em Campo Grande, produced by Dudu Borges, in addition to highly successful collaborations with heavyweights of sertanejo music like Jorge & Mateus and Luan Santana.

With a trajectory marked by radio hits and a strong digital presence, Bruninho e Davi have consolidated their place in the contemporary sertanejo universitario scene. Beyond the hits released on video platforms and radio stations, they have innovated by producing their own audiovisual content, such as web series on their official channel. The duo remains active, refreshing their repertoire with new live albums and maintaining a strong connection with the country music audience.
