Biography

Bruno Berle is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Maceió, Alagoas. His musical journey began at a young age when his father introduced him to the guitar. Initially pursuing mathematics, Berle eventually relocated to São Paulo to fully dedicate himself to his passion for music.

Berle's artistry is deeply rooted in the rich traditions of Música Popular Brasileira (MPB), drawing influences from samba, bossa nova, and Tropicália, while seamlessly blending them with contemporary lo-fi and "bedroom pop" sensibilities. Critics have lauded his ability to merge classic Brazilian sounds with modern production techniques, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and fresh. He is also recognized for his efforts to represent Black queer love in his music, notably in his album "No Reino Dos Afetos 2".

He has been compared to esteemed artists such as João Gilberto, Djavan, and Frank Ocean, and has shared stages with notable Brazilian musicians like Bala Desejo, Dora Morelenbaum, and Ana Frango Elétrico.
