Biography
Bullet Bane is a Brazilian alternative rock and melodic hardcore band formed in São Paulo in 2009. Initially known as Take Off The Halter, the band changed its name to Bullet Bane to avoid misunderstandings of the original meaning in international contexts. The group's sound is marked by a fusion of technical riffs, melodic vocals, and fast beats, addressing themes in their lyrics such as the environment, society, and everyday life. Throughout their career, the band has released several albums, EPs, and splits, establishing themselves as a reference in the national independent scene.
Over the years, Bullet Bane has gone through some lineup changes, but has maintained a consistent work ethic, influenced by bands like NOFX, Millencolin, and A Wilhelm Scream. The band has played over 400 shows across Brazil and shared the stage with several renowned international artists, in addition to performing at Rock in Rio in 2019. Their discography includes albums like "New World Broadcast" (2011), "Impavid Colossus" (2014), "Continental" (2017), "Ponto" (2020), "BLLT" (2022), and "ART.FICIAL" (2024), demonstrating a constant evolution in their musical approach.
The band is known for their energetic live performances and strong connection with the audience, which is reflected in the positive reception of their more recent work, such as "O AGORA QUE COBRA VIVER" (2026). With a career marked by experimentation and the search for new sounds, Bullet Bane continues to innovate by incorporating electronic and pop elements into their music, without losing the essence of the melodic hardcore that made them famous. The band currently consists of Lucas Guerra (vocals), Danilo Souza (guitar), Fernando Uehara (guitar), Rafael Goldin (bass), and Andrew Lee (drums).
