Biography

Cacio e Marcos is a Brazilian country music duo formed in 2009 in the city of Serra, Espírito Santo, by Cácio Conssuol Meneguite and Marcos Alexandre Melo dos Santos. They are recognized as pioneers of "Funknejo", a musical subgenre that blends university sertanejo with funk, created by them in 2011 with the release of hits like "Tá Tarada" and "Tá Doidona".

The duo gained national notoriety with their irreverent lyrics and contagious rhythm, reaching millions of views on their music videos and receiving frequent radio airplay. In addition to "Tá Tarada" and "Tá Doidona", other hits that marked the career of Cacio and Marcos include "As Mina Pira", "Sou Foda" (featuring the funk group Os Avassaladores), and "Tome Amor". This innovative musical fusion shook up the country music industry, facing initial prejudice before establishing itself as a market force.

With a solid career spanning over a decade, Cacio e Marcos have released several albums and DVDs, including "Festa Funkneja Ao Vivo" and "Solta a Voz e Vem com Nóis". They stand out not only for their music, but also for the energy and good humor in their shows, which reflect the duo's charismatic personality.
