Biography

Camarones Orquestra Guitarrística is an instrumental music band from Rio Grande do Norte, formed in Natal in late 2007. Initially conceived as a project to explore cartoon themes and movie soundtracks, the band quickly evolved into an original group with a unique sound. Their music is rooted in rock, but incorporates elements of ska, punk, reggae, surf music, pop, and northeastern rhythms, creating a fun, danceable, and eclectic sound. The band's proposal has always been to prioritize fun and energy over technical virtuosity, which has won them a loyal following and caught the attention of specialized media. Throughout their career, Camarones Orquestra Guitarrística has established itself as one of the most active independent groups in Brazil, with an extensive discography that includes several albums and EPs, as well as a rich videography featuring music videos, live shows, and tour documentaries.

The band is known for its intense touring activity, carrying out numerous tours across Brazil as well as several countries in South America, Europe, and the United States.
