Biography

Camila Ribeiro is a Brazilian singer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist known for her unique blend of regional Brazilian music with world music influences.

She began her musical journey studying various instruments, including saxophone, bandolim, guitar, and six and seven-string guitars. Her early work involved playing the six-string guitar for a theater show with the Maracatu Nação Pernambuco group. She also performed with the Orquestra de Frevo in Recife, under the direction of conductor Lourdinha Nóbrega.

Ribeiro's artistic development led her to direct music and perform with the "Cordelândia" group, for which she presented a musical show for children. In 2020, she released her debut EP, "Venter," featuring four original tracks. Her music often draws inspiration from Afro-Brazilian and indigenous spiritual traditions, as well as the rich musical heritage of Northeast Brazil, creating a sound that is both original and deeply rooted.
