Biography
Carla Villar is a Brazilian singer known for her velvety voice and musical sensitivity. She began her career at a young age, performing on regional television programs in her hometown. Villar studied music in various schools in Belo Horizonte and has participated in numerous jingle recordings. She has performed in cultural spaces and nightclubs throughout Belo Horizonte and Minas Gerais.
Villar was part of the "Projeto Pixingão" and later the "Projeto Pixinguinha," touring various Brazilian capitals alongside Fátima Guedes and Carlinhos Vergueiro. In 1992, she contributed to the album "25 anos de travessia" by lyricist Fernando Brant. Around the same period, she participated in the CD "Simples" with twelve other female singers from Minas Gerais. Her debut solo album, "Trindade," featured arrangements by Marcus Viana and Tavinho Moura.
With over 25 years of career, Carla Villar has been praised for her talent and musical sensibility. She has collaborated with artists such as Mozart Secundino, Dhiego Gusmão, and Célio Balona, and her discography includes albums like "Flecha" (1987), "Grande Espírito" (1994), and "Sete Vidas, Amores E Guerras" (2003).
