Biography

Carlinhos Gomes is a Brazilian bassist, and the brother of fellow musicians Pepeu Gomes, Didi Gomes, and Jorginho Gomes. He was a member of the groups Os Da Bahia and Os Leifs.

His musical career gained prominence starting in the 1970s, when he participated in important recordings, such as the album "Barra 69 - Caetano E Gil Ao Vivo Na Bahia", by Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil. Gomes also worked on other musical projects, cementing his presence in the Brazilian music scene.

As a musician, Carlinhos Gomes is recognized for his work on the bass, an instrument that accompanied him in various recordings and performances alongside other relevant artists and groups from Brazilian popular music.
