Carlinhos Machado is a Brazilian musician, singer, and songwriter, also known for his literary work. Born in Curitiba, Paraná, in 1977, Machado's artistic career spans both music and literature, with a distinct focus on "Brazilian Contemporary Music."

His musical journey began with the band Sad Theory, with whom he released several albums between 2002 and 2012. In 2008, he launched his solo career, releasing a series of albums that include "Tendéu" (2008), "Samba Portátil" (2010), "Longe" (2012), "Los Amores de Paso" (2013), "Bárbara" (2015), and "DESencontro" (2017). He also released a live DVD titled "Longe e outras canções" in 2012. Machado's music often explores themes that are deeply rooted in Brazilian culture and contemporary life.

Beyond his musical endeavors, Carlinhos Machado is also an accomplished writer, having published several books of short stories and novellas. His literary works, such as "A voz do outro" and "Poeira fria," have garnered critical acclaim.
