Carlos Navas is a prominent Brazilian singer recognized for his conceptual and eclectic discography spanning over two decades of career. Born in São Paulo, he initially worked behind the scenes as a music promoter and producer for various notable artists before launching his solo singing career in the late 1990s with albums such as Pouco pra Mim and Sua Pessoa. His versatile artistic path includes sophisticated children's song projects featuring the works of Vinícius de Moraes and Chico Buarque, as well as celebrated tribute albums dedicated to legendary figures of Brazilian music like Mário Reis and Custódio Mesquita.

Throughout his career, Navas has collaborated with many esteemed musicians and participated in various tribute projects honoring icons such as Maysa and Dolores Duran. He has also been featured on prominent television music programs, including TV Cultura's renowned Ensaio series, which later became his first DVD release, and TV Brasil's Todas as Bossas.
