Carlos Randall, born Carlos Roberto da Silva in Santa Helena de Goiás, is a prominent Brazilian singer, songwriter, and businessman whose career spans over five decades. With a vast catalog containing more than 3,000 recorded songs, he has achieved significant commercial success and industry recognition, including winning two Latin Grammys. He is a cousin of the well-known singer and songwriter Lindomar Castilho.

Throughout his prolific career, Randall has established himself as a powerhouse in the sertanejo genre, writing hits for legendary acts such as Leandro & Leonardo, Chitãozinho & Xororó, and Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano. Some of his most celebrated compositions include "Muda de vida", "Sai dessa, coração", and the iconic "Dois Corações e Uma História", co-written alongside Danimar. His works have also been recorded by numerous other prominent Brazilian artists, spanning generations from traditional duos to contemporary stars like Marília Mendonça.

Beyond his songwriting achievements, Randall's life has been marked by dramatic historical events, most notably surviving a tragic shooting in 1981 involving Eliane de Grammont and his cousin Lindomar Castilho.
