Biography

The band Casa das Máquinas was formed in São Paulo in 1973, featuring members who previously belonged to "Os Incríveis", such as drummer Netinho and guitarist Aroldo. Initially, the group performed under the name "Os Novos Incríveis", touring Brazil with a repertoire of rock classics.

After changing their name to "Casa das Máquinas", the band signed with the Som Livre record label and released their self-titled debut album in 1974. This work featured a diverse sound, with influences of hard rock and progressive rock, while maintaining a connection to the style of "Os Incríveis". Their second album, "Lar de Maravilhas" (1975), deepened their progressive side, whereas "Casa de Rock" (1976) returned to a more direct and energetic approach, characteristic of the hard rock of that era.

The band's trajectory was interrupted in 1978 due to an incident involving members. However, Casa das Máquinas resurfaced in late 2007, with sporadic performances that became more regular starting in 2010. In 2022, they released their most recent album, "Brilho nos Olhos", cementing their legacy in Brazilian rock.
