Biography

Casa Worship is a Brazilian contemporary Christian music band formed in 2018 in Goiânia, Goiás, under the leadership of pastor Davi Passamani at the Igreja Casa Ministério Cristão. The group established its signature sound by blending contemporary pop rock with expressive electric guitars, bass, and drums to deliver modern worship anthems. The original lineup featured vocalists Julliany Souza and Léo Brandão, alongside Felipe Rodrigues on vocals and bass, Ricardinho on keyboards, Baby Batera on drums, and Kaio Passos on guitar.

The band achieved nationwide recognition in 2019 with the explosive release of their hit single "A Casa É Sua". The song became a massive streaming phenomenon, accumulating hundreds of millions of views on YouTube and entering viral charts across Brazil, particularly resonating with audiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. Building on this momentum, the group expanded their reach through high-profile collaborations with mainstream and gospel artists such as Wesley Safadão, Clovis Pinho, and André e Felipe, while also drawing inspiration from international worship movements like Hillsong Worship.

Following a wave of departures in 2022 when original members like Julliany Souza and Léo Brandão exited to pursue other projects such as the group AMÉM, Casa Worship restructured under a new lineup featuring Nanda, Ed, Thiago, Stefany, and Yasmin. Despite these structural shifts, the band continued to garner critical acclaim, earning a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Portuguese Language Christian Album in 2023 for their live album Novo Tempo. Throughout their career, they have remained a prominent force in the Brazilian gospel scene, known for both their chart-topping worship hits and occasional ventures into contemporary secular covers.
