Biography

Cassiane is a renowned Brazilian gospel singer, songwriter, and pastor born in Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro. She began singing in church services at a very young age and recorded her debut album, Cristo É A Força, in 1981 when she was only eight years old. Throughout her prolific career, she became one of the most prominent figures in Brazilian contemporary Christian music, releasing landmark albums such as Sem Palavras, Com Muito Louvor, and Recompensa, which earned her multiple gold and platinum certifications.

In addition to her musical accomplishments, Cassiane is deeply involved in pastoral leadership alongside her husband and producer, Jairinho Manhães. In 2005, she made history by becoming the first woman to be ordained as a pastor within a historical Assembly of God ministry (Ministério de Madureira). Together, they have led the ADALPHA church in Alphaville, Barueri, while she continued to release successful albums and collaborate with various Christian artists and record labels throughout Brazil.

Over the decades, Cassiane has cemented her legacy through iconic worship anthems like "Com Muito Louvor" and "Hino da Vitória," inspiring generations of gospel musicians.
