Celso Fonseca is a renowned Brazilian singer, guitarist, and composer born in Rio de Janeiro. He picked up the acoustic guitar at the age of 12 and decided to pursue a professional career in music by the time he was 19, drawing his early guitar influences from legends such as Baden Powell. Throughout his illustrious career, he has collaborated and worked alongside iconic figures of Brazilian music like Gilberto Gil, Marisa Monte, and Bebel Gilberto.

In addition to his work as a performing artist, Fonseca established himself as a talented record producer in the mid-1980s, around the time he released his debut album. His artistry reached international acclaim in 2016 when he received Latin Grammy nominations for Song of the Year with "Céu" and Best MPB Album for his work on Like Nice.
