Celso Ricardi was a Brazilian singer known for his romantic style and smooth, passionate voice. He rose to prominence in the 1970s, frequently appearing on television auditoriums and gaining popularity through his song "Te amo eternamente." This track became a major success when it was featured as the theme song for the characters Tuth and Marcos in the 1973 telenovela "Mulheres de Areia." His music often graced the soundtracks of popular Brazilian soap operas, with "Porque te amo" being another notable success featured in "Os Inocentes" in 1974. Ricardi's career spanned into the late 1970s with releases like the LP "Celso Ricardi" in 1976, which included songs such as "Viva" and "Recordações de um amor." His work was also recognized by inclusion in compilations like "Os Galãs" from Silvio Santos's program.

Throughout the 1970s, Celso Ricardi established himself as a romantic crooner, releasing several singles and albums.
