Born in Diamantina, Minas Gerais, he developed his musical inclinations early on, influenced by his mother, a pianist and music teacher, and the rich musical environment of his hometown. His musical journey led him to Belo Horizonte, where he further honed his skills at the UFMG School of Music, studying various instruments and musical theory.
