Biography

César Augusto da Silva Lemos, known as César Maluco, was born in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, on May 17, 1945. His football career began in Flamengo's youth categories, where he made his professional debut in 1965. In 1967, he transferred to Palmeiras, becoming one of the idols of the club's "Academia" and "Segunda Academia," and one of the greatest goalscorers in its history. Maluco also played for Corinthians, Santos, and Fluminense, in addition to representing the Brazilian National Team in the 1974 World Cup.

Alongside his football career, César Lemos also stood out in the musical scene. He was a guitarist and vocalist for the group "The Fevers" between 1988 and 1991, leaving his mark on hits such as "Pensamento Vai Mais Longe" and "Um Louco." After leaving the band, he moved to the United States, where he consolidated his career as a record producer, arranger, and composer.

Currently, César Lemos divides his life between Miami and Brazil, maintaining intense activity as a music producer. He has worked with several nationally and internationally renowned artists, including Zezé Di Camargo & Luciano, Wanessa Camargo, Xuxa, Daniel, Ricky Martin, and Thalía. His versatility and talent have made him one of the most sought-after professionals in the Brazilian and Latin music industry. In 2024, he returned to the stage for special guest appearances with the band The Fevers, celebrating the group's 55th anniversary.
