Biography

Ceumar Coelho was born in Itanhandu, in the southern region of Minas Gerais, on April 19, 1969, coming from a family with strong musical connections. At the age of 18, she moved to Belo Horizonte to deepen her studies in singing and classical guitar at the Fundação de Educação Artística, before relocating to São Paulo in 1995.

Her discography includes notable albums such as her 2000 debut work, "Dindinha", produced by Zeca Baleiro, and "Sempre Viva", where she also acted as a producer and composer alongside names like Chico César and Alice Ruiz. Throughout her career, Ceumar has collaborated with various artists and expanded her work into international projects, in addition to recording tribute albums to fundamental figures of Brazilian culture such as Inezita Barroso, alongside musicians like Lui Coimbra and Paulo Freire.

With a consolidated trajectory in Brazilian popular music, she has also worked on compositions for theater and released acclaimed works such as "Espiral", maintaining frequent partnerships with renowned artists from the national scene, such as Belchior.
