Biography

Chaos Rising is an international metal project formed in 2019 by French musician Stéphanie Nolf. The project stands out for being composed entirely of women and trans women, bringing together more than 30 musicians from various parts of the world. The main goal of Chaos Rising is to give visibility and promote female participation in the metal scene, exploring a vast range of subgenres, from death metal and thrash metal to more melodic and symphonic elements.

Throughout its existence, Chaos Rising has consistently released music and music videos, culminating in the production of a double album titled "The Singles". This work demonstrates the project's sonic evolution and the diversity within metal, with one disc focused on its more extreme side and the other on its melodic side. The band operates independently, with the members themselves handling production, mixing, design, and promotion, reinforcing its do-it-yourself (DIY) spirit.

The project has featured several renowned and talented musicians, including Luana Dametto (Brazilian vocalist), Pitchu Ferraz (Brazilian drummer), Dé Bermudez (Brazilian bassist), and Haru Cage (Brazilian vocalist). International collaboration is a fundamental pillar of Chaos Rising, which seeks to break geographical and cultural barriers to create powerful and inspiring music, solidifying its space in the music industry as a symbol of inclusion and female strength.
