Biography

Chrystian Lima is a renowned Brazilian singer, songwriter, musician, and music producer born in Nazaré da Mata on October 26, 1975. The nephew of famous songwriter Michael Sullivan, Chrystian has built a solid career behind the scenes of Brazilian music, standing out in the creation of major hits in electronic forró, sertanejo, and brega. Throughout his career, he has accumulated more than 250 recorded compositions by major artists and bands across the country.

Among his most notable compositions are national hits like "Vou Fazer Pirraça", immortalized by the duo Jorge & Mateus, and "Leilão", originally released by the band Gatinha Manhosa and later re-recorded by César Menotti & Fabiano. His works have also echoed in the voices of important forró names, such as Calcinha Preta, Aviões do Forró, Banda Calypso, Limão com Mel, Cavaleiros do Forró, and Magníficos, in addition to the striking song "Cobertor", re-recorded by groups like Banda Aveloz and Ara Ketu.

In addition to his talent as a songwriter, Chrystian has established himself as a prominent producer on the Brazilian music scene. In 2016, he was responsible for producing singer Joelma's debut solo album and Leonardo Sullivan's album. More recently, in 2020, he produced the fifth commemorative DVD celebrating the 25th anniversary of the band Calcinha Preta, reaffirming his importance in the history of northeastern music and working alongside major icons such as Michael Sullivan and Joelma.
