Biography

Eduardo Hypolitho Benedito, artistically known as Chuck Hipolitho, is a multifaceted Brazilian artist born in Parnamirim, Rio Grande do Norte, on November 21, 1977. His career spans music, illustration, direction, TV production, and music videos, and he was also a VJ for MTV Brasil. His musical trajectory began in 1999 as one of the founders of the band Forgotten Boys, where he acted as bassist, guitarist, and vocalist. Later, he returned to the group in 2016, this time as a drummer.

In parallel with his work in Forgotten Boys, Chuck Hipolitho was one of the creators of the band Vespas Mandarinas, with which he released acclaimed records and was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2013 in the "Best Brazilian Rock Album" category for "Animal Nacional". He also owns Estúdio Costella, working as a sound engineer and music producer, and has collaborated with artists such as Arnaldo Antunes and Leoni. Currently, he is part of the project Malditos Skatistas and develops his solo work "Chuck & os Crush", where he explores musical creation independently, using resources such as a smartphone.

In addition to his musical career, Chuck Hipolitho also left his mark on television, especially at MTV Brasil, where he worked as a producer, writer, editor, director, and VJ, presenting shows like "Piores Clipes do Mundo" and "Big Audio". His versatility led him to ventures in gastronomy with the business "Hypolitho & Benedito", and to partnerships in illustration projects and music video direction. Chuck Hipolitho is recognized for his constant reinvention and for his significant contribution to the Brazilian music and audiovisual scene.
